Chapter 13

I woke up out the coma to find out my sister was kidnapped. When I got home from the hospital, Aunt Tasha and Hershey were taking care of the kids. I was grateful for them because Asia would’ve killed herself if she was left to take care of two newborn babies and a set of one-year-old twins.

Aunt Tasha left a week after I came home. I started my classes again but I took them online. Mary had the twins for the weekend so I could deal with Sparkle and do most of my homework. Plus, I was still overseeing shit for my father. I was doing an essay for one of my classes when my cell phone rang I looked at the caller ID and saw an Atlanta number.

“Hello?”

“I’m just going to tell you, straight up, there isn’t any need to beat around the bush,” Raya said. “I’m still fucking Sincere. The day you were in labor, he was down here fucking me and eating my pussy while you were calling and whining that you didn’t want to have your bastard ass daughter by yourself.”

I walked out my room to Asia’s room. I put the phone on speaker so she could hear the hot shit this bitch was spitting.

“And you are telling me this because what? You act like I need him. Niggas come a dime a dozen. I don’t need that nigga for shit. I had money before I got with his grimy ass and I’m going to have it when he leaves. If it makes you feel better, you can have him and all the bullshit. How did you even get my number?” I asked.

“I got it from our man’s phone while he was sleep. Yeah I said our man because he’s playing house with both of us. But you see, I know all about his game. Sin said he couldn’t take you seriously because your father has to know about everything you do. Damn bitch, how old are you? Twenty or two?” she and Brie were laughing on the end of the phone.

“Bitch, you’re funny. I know all about you too. How your dumb ass tried killing yourself when Kendu broke up with you. I even heard the voicemail you left him the night you slit your wrist, you thirsty bitch. You’re the one that need a nigga. And my father doesn’t need me to tell him shit. He’s a boss so the information comes to him when it has something to do with the Princess of Harlem. You’re mad because you don’t have a father. Bitch, get off my fucking line!” I said before hanging up the phone.

“Wow, Diva,” Asia said.

I shook my head “This is the shit I went through with Eddie and I’m not about to go through it with Kendu. Fuck that!”

I walked back to my room and packed all the shit Kendu had in my house. I sat it by the door of my bedroom then I sat back on my bed and sniffed a whole baggie of coke.
